On Tuesday, my hometown of Kansas City will go on lockdown till (at least) April 24th.
That's 30 days of all non-essential businesses closed, some people working from home, thousands laid off 😔, and many of us with more free time on our hands than we've had since summer vacation as kids.
And it's not just Kansas City.
States and cities around the country are going into lockdown.
If you're not in lockdown yet, it's likely you will be soon.
The good news is, there's a bunch of cool resources available online to help you turn this trying time into a big win for yourself, your family and your community.
I'll share a full resource list soon. For now, here are two resources you absolutely should take advantage of if you're not already:
1. DigitalMarketer
DigitalMarketer has put their entire Training Library online, gratis, through the month of March.
You'll find 36 trainings on copywriting, email marketing, paid traffic, and more. I've done a bunch of their trainings and it's high quality stuff.
Dig it:
2. Ahrefs
If you have a blog, or offer blogging services, get your buns to the link below and peep Ahrefs Blogging For Business Course.
It normally retails for 799 smackeroos, but right now it's on the house. Nice! https://ahrefs.com/academy/blogging-for-business
I haven't done the AHREFS training but absolutely plan to. The cats and kittens over there know their stuff.
Alright, I'm gonna skedaddle.
I hope you and yours are faring well.
My encouragement is that we all work together, in big ways and small, to turn this crisis into something good for ourselves and each other.
Peace, -Paul
P.S. Do you know of other resources being offered to writers, freelancers, and small business owners? Hit "reply" and please share!
I'd love to include your suggestion in the resource I'm working on. |
