| I walked into the office Monday, asked my boss for a raise. The S.O.B. starts laughing like the joker. First question, was do you need money?
I said well I want more money. Then he gave me another Joker laugh and said I gotta see what I can do.
Ahhhhh laugh now Joker, best part is he don't know 6 weeks I'm out of here anyway. Me asking for a raise has become an every 6 month tradition.
Why you ask, well first I just like to see the guy's face get perplexed when I walk in with my request....2nd I like to hear that Joker laugh. We've been at this song and dance for some years now. When I first started I used to bitch and moan about them not paying me enough blah blah blah the usual.
Finally a couple years ago I wised up, stop moaning and groaning. Thought to myself, I gotta get myself a raise then raise the hell out of here..
Took me some time, but I figured some things out.
If you have this same feeling which I know you might. I'm reaching out to let you know you can start working on a way out of your situation while in your situation. Say that sentence fast eh.
