Subject: The Notorious B.I.G method of marketing

Busta Rhymes told a great story about Christopher Wallace, aka The Notorious BIG.

He said before Biggie's classic album, Ready to Die, was released. The guy would be in the apartment, dubbing it and giving the tape to anybody who wanted it.

Record execs would probably frown upon this. Busta Rhymes, who was new to the music scene, was also perplexed by the whole scene.

Word got out, and people were lined up outside the apartment, waiting on the not yet released album. Busta asked him why he was giving it away. Biggie said if everybody is bumping my music, the perception will think I'm the hottest out there. Smart Man.

Of course, in the '90s, dubbing tapes for people was a big thing. So one person recorded it for another. So on and on. Now the album has a buzz. Major Buzz. Viral for young.

A year after the release, the album was double platinum.

Giving away things free sometimes doesn't hurt.

Costco uses the same philosophy. They don't give the whole package away for free, but you can gobble up many samples. Why do they do this? Word of mouth. My wife shops at Costco. When people ask her about should, they get a membership.

I happily chime in. They give you free samples, and they are pretty good, so you can't beat that. All the good deals they have, and I'm talking about Samples. Marketing 101 people.

I'm going to give you a free sample and get you started in affiliate marketing. Click on the link, look into this program, and get started now. By next November, and you too can be platinum.
