GHOSTING
Internet Marketing, Affiliate marketing, digital marketing or whatever name you’d like to use is a tough business to get started in. It’s so many people at the bottom of the food chain trying to climb up that mountain. Many don’t make it up the climb. Affiliate ghosts they become, then the ghost spend a lot of time haunting youtube, facebook, and other platforms bitching about how it’s all a scam..eye roll please.

| THE CLIMB
Why are there so many people trying to get into this online space? Because EVERYBODY MAKES IT LOOK EASY….Copy Paste this system…..and Boom baby, you will be making 10,000 a month. Quit your job and join Tim Ferris in a foreign country working 4 hour work weeks. That’s the formula right…….wrong. Once you start making some headway things get easier, but the beginning climb is a real pain in the ass. You wanna avoid becoming a internet marketing ghost…I’ll give you 3 points to help you out.

| BELIEVE
First thing, as Journey says, don’t stop believing. If you don’t have any belief then we can’t even talk about anything else. I’ve been at this 18 months. First 9 months, I didn’t make a dime. Course I wanted to give up, but from watching a few motivation videos on youtube, reading books, and just a change in my thinking. My belief pattern is so much stronger now than it was in the beginning. Don’t mistake confidence for belief. Confidence can be fleeting, I get a haircut and for two days my confidence is sky high. By the next week that confidence in my hair is vanished. But my belief that I can figure out internet marketing is still there.
CONSISTENCY
You can’t do a post on medium in august than come back in march with another post, then think to self “hey why aren’t these sob’s reading my stuff.” We know you aren’t coming back for awhile. Especially in the world we are in now. You gotta produce and produce content. Especially when everyday somebody gets a wild hair up their tail to become an internet marketer. They come out like Mike Tyson in his heyday. Ready to swing for that 10,000 a month dream they was told. Of course most after a week or two are like Tyson, short on breath, and throw in the towel. That’s why you and I gotta be turtles. Slow and steady but we keep being consistent. I’ve posted 21 articles on Medium…They don’t get much traction but hey I keep writing. If you sign up for this platform and expect 100,000 people to read your first article we might drug test you.

| LEARNING
“Don’t let your learning lead to knowledge. Let you learning lead to action.” One of my favorite speakers Jim Rohn said that in a audiobook I was listening too. He is full of nuggets. This was one of my mistakes early on. I was so excited to be learning something new, that I would keep learning new things but never take action. I’m just a smart dummy at that point. Now some don’t wanna learn at all. They just wanna throw links up in fb groups where everybody is trying to promote something. Now don’t be that person, but avoid being me. The person who is just soaking up knowledge, but not doing anything with it. It’s a pitfall. Learn, action, learn, and more action. Rinse and repeat. Take notes, read books. Do that applied learning eh….
