TNI holds a unique position as a respected global progressive hub . We build links across social movements and across borders, provide information useful for campaign strategy, produce analysis that helps movements see the bigger picture of global power, and we work hard in developing ideas that can provide the building blocks for the future we want. As our President, Susan George noted, ‘a market-dominated, iniquitous world is not inevitable but a conscious creation, implying that counter-forces and a counter-project are possible.’ This requires the support and promotion of alternative worldviews and the knowledge needed to challenge the status quo.
