Graag willen we je uitnodigen voor “Ignite! Festival of radical ideas”, georganiseerd door het Transnational Institute (TNI), op 27 september in Pakhuis de Zwijger, van 19.00 tot 22.00. 

TNI is een internationale denktank die zich inzet voor een rechtvaardige, democratische en duurzame planeet. We bestaan dit jaar 50 jaar en dat vieren we groots, onder meer met dit festival. We nodigen toonaangevende activisten en denkers, dromers en doeners uit om de wereld zoals we die kennen beter te begrijpen, en te organiseren voor de wereld van morgen. 


Onder meer Jason Hickel, Jayati Ghosh, Jerome Roos, Aderonke Ige en Ahdaf Soueif gaan onder leiding van Laura Flanders met elkaar in gesprek over mondiale politiek en economie, geopolitieke verschuivingen en de strijd tegen klimaatverandering en ongelijkheid, ongecontroleerde macht van bedrijven, genocide in Gaza, militarisering, de opkomst van extreem-rechts en nog veel meer. 


Het belooft een spannende en historische avond te worden, gevuld met debat en dialoog, cultuur en muziek, en strategie en organisatie. Na afloop is er gelegenheid om na te praten bij de borrel. Zorg dat je erbij bent!

We would like to invite you to “Ignite! Festival of Radical Ideas,” organized by the Transnational Institute (TNI), on September 27 at Pakhuis de Zwijger, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

TNI is an international think tank dedicated to a just, democratic, and sustainable planet. This year, we are celebrating our 50th anniversary with a grand celebration, including this festival. We are bringing together leading activists and thinkers, dreamers and doers, to better understand the world as we know it and to organize for the world of tomorrow.


Speakers such as Jason Hickel, Jayati Ghosh, Jerome Roos, Aderonke Ige, and Ahdaf Soueif, led by Laura Flanders, will engage in discussions about global politics and economy, geopolitical shifts, and the fight against climate change and inequality. They will also address corporate power, the genocide in Gaza, militarization, the rise of the far-right, and much more.


It promises to be an exciting and historic evening, filled with debate and dialogue, culture and music, and strategy and organization. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to continue the conversation over drinks. Make sure to be there!
