Dear praying friends,

Now, Lord, consider their threats … (Acts 4:29). A few days ago we received an e-mail from a sister in Croatia regarding two of the Roma churches: “Brothers, we need urgent prayers because threats are continuing in S. (village) toward the church which is already with broken windows. Now threats are to burn the church or to drive us out. In T. (nearby village) there are also challenges. Please stand with us in prayer.” This comes just a week after the police in Serbia (the next country to the east), shut down the children’s Bible club that our colleagues were holding (pictured below). Sounds sort of like the book of Acts, eh? “Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples” (Acts 9:1). Would you pray that the Lord will turn this around for good, like he did through Saul/Paul and countless times throughout church history? (I've started listening to Foxes Book of Martyrs; these things are nothing new and shouldn’t surprise us.)

Last year I had the privilege of visiting the S. church, when Bob was preaching and our friend, K., who sent the e-mail, was translating for him. The Lord has done amazing things in this Roma village, and surely Satan is displeased. The work in the T. village has really begun to take off. This church plant is also a great answer to prayer. When Pam visited that village two years ago, there was a soup kitchen ministry but no church. They prayed for a church to be planted, God answered, and now there are over 60 believers in these two small villages, meeting regularly for worship, teaching and prayer. Surely the Evil One is displeased.

Our upcoming travel schedule: We are enjoying time with our older kids and with relatives as well as traveling and speaking at our supporting churches to give an update on the work of Roma Bible translation. Our upcoming speaking engagements include Heritage Baptist Church, Oklahoma City (Aug. 2), Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, Williamsburg, IA (Aug. 9), CrossWay Bible Church, Blue Springs, MO (Aug. 15 morning women’s meeting), Walker Bible Church, Walker, IA (Aug. 16), Lee’s Summit Bible Church, Lee’s Summit, MO (Aug. 18 seniors morning meeting), Newburg-Chester Congregational Church, Grinnell, IA (Aug. 23), Duncan Road Baptist Church, Blue Springs, MO (Aug. 30), Sully Community Church, Sully, IA (Sept. 12-13), Metropolitan Baptist Church, Oklahoma City (Sept. 16-20) and Abundant Life Baptist Church, Lee’s Summit, MO (Sept. 27)
.
Thank you all so much for your financial support and for praying for us and for the Roma of Europe,

Todd, Pamala, Matthew, Kirsten, Daniel and Ariela Price
