Dear caring friends who pray,
Thank you so much for praying for us, especially during the last two weeks while we worked with our consultant from the States and 8 Roma Bible translators to check their translation drafts of Luke 4-6.
We met in my office at our house from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. We would start the day with devotions and prayer, and the rest of the day was spent going verse by verse through Luke, asking the translators questions and working with them to make sure that their translations were not only accurate and grammatically correct, but that they clearly communicated the meanings of each passage for the average Roma in the village who has not been taught the Bible yet. It was a fascinating time to dig deeper into the Word and also to learn more about the languages and cultures of the Roma.
Pam gave our time together a warm and homey atmosphere, as she prepared stellar coffee break treats and enjoyed fellowship with the Roma translators, half of which she had not had the chance to meet in person before this. Daniel helped with laying out the snacks, and Ariela helped by playing with Ella, Natasha’s little girl who came also.
We are so grateful for your powerful prayers that God answered effectively. Thank you for ministering here through your prayers!
