Here are some fresh praises and prayer requests:
1. Our Bible translation work is picking up the pace. We have added some new translators to the teams so now there are 9 Roma working on translations in 4 languages. Please pray for them as they translate, for the Lord's enablement for them to translate accurately, clearly and naturally.
2. We received encouraging news from a foundation that specializes in financing new Bible translation work on the mission field. They visited us here in Budapest and are now considering a proposal request for $350,000 to fund these translation projects for the next three years. Please pray for the Lord's provision of funding so we can get the Bible translated into these languages.
3. We will be in the States for our home assignment August 2017-January 2018. We have purchased plane tickets, but as of yet we have no place to live. Please pray that the Lord would provide free or inexpensive housing (three of the children will still be in the home with us during that time), in Kansas City, as close as possible to Blue Springs, MO.
4. Please pray for renters to live in the house we rent here in Budapest. This will help immensely since we have to pay rent for this house while we're gone and we need someone to look after the house.
5. As is our annual tradition, we had a great week at the SHARE Education Conference in Siofok, Hungary. Praise God that our kids had a great time with other missionary kids and Pam and I enjoyed the teaching and resources which are such a help for parenting and schooling kids overseas.
