Dear friends who pray,

Thank you for praying for my trip to Croatia earlier this month. I was able to spend a couple days with each of the four teams of Roma who are translating the Bible into their four dialects.

The trip went really well over several flights & many miles of driving across Croatia by car. The Lord was gracious and jet lag wasn’t too bad and we were able to get a good amount of work done checking how we are translating some key words in the gospels and some of Paul’s epistles in the four Roma dialects into which we are translating the Bible.

After prayer and discussion as a family and with other Pioneers teammates and leadership, and after this exploratory trip, we have decided that it will be much more expedient & efficient for us to live in Croatia, rather than Hungary, so we can be closer to the Roma with whom we work. Pray for us as we hope to move to Slavonski Brod, Croatia, in March or April 2018.
