| It has been special to spend time with family during our home assignment in the US.

| | | A special treat was being able to be with Pam’s sister, Ruth, and family who were on furlough from China at the same time. |
| | We also enjoyed time with Pam’s parents, Mal and Barb. Due to Mal’s advanced Alzheimer’s, he will be moving to Texas for the winter to live with Pam’s sister, Val, near Dallas.
We’ve also enjoyed special Thanksgiving & Christmas traditions with our kids’ cousins, including:

| | | the Victorian Stroll in Pam’s hometown (Albia, Iowa |
| | | making Santa apples for St. Nicholas Day (our custom from Croatia) |
| | | and gingerbread houses (this time with the cousins). |
| | | After we return to Hungary the end of January, we will begin the process of moving to Croatia. This is a strategic move so that we can live much closer to the Roma in Croatia and Serbia with whom we are translating the Bible.
Please pray for the process of this international move to Slavonski Brod, Croatia.
Also, we will be incurring many expenses for the move such as painting and maintenance of the rental house we are leaving; gas, overnight accommodation and meal costs as we travel to Croatia to scout out a house; truck rental and international customs and import costs on all our household and office belongings and vehicle, etc.
