| | Dear praying friends,
1. We praise God for providing a full-time job for Timothy! We are so excited about this answer to prayer as he will be able to provide in-home care for mentally disabled adults in Kansas City at a location very close to us.
2. We will enjoy having him live with us for a few months, but after that he will need a room (or apartment) to rent near his new job in KC. We'd appreciate prayer for that housing need.
3. While we are in the States, our Pioneers colleagues back in Budapest are borrowing our van. A huge storm with gale winds blew threw Budapest a couple days ago, knocking down trees. One of the trees was in our friend's front yard by the driveway and came crashing down right where our van is normally parked. In the kindness and providence of God, they were out at the time, parked in a covered parking garage in another part of the city so our van was not there! We always pray for protection, but sometimes you don't know you need it at the time. Praise God for sparing not only our van but our friends during this storm.
4. Yesterday we were sorting through some of the things we keep stored here in the States and I came across what is pictured below. This was our first prayer card and prayer letter when we joined Pioneers 23 years ago! My how things change!
