| Kirsten turned 12 on Valentine's Day!
Thank you for being faithful prayer partners. Here are a few updates:
1. Please
continue to pray for Kirsten as she adjusts to life back in Hungary.
Pray for the Lord's grace and that she would have good friendships with
others here on the field. He has been kind to her lately in providing
good social opportunities: an unexpected visit for the day from our
Dutch friends in Croatia; friends driving 1 1/2 one way to come to her
12th birthday party; middle school youth group at our church; a second
youth group meeting near our home; a home school field trip to the NASA
space exhibit (see picture below); and next week's week long education conference here in Hungary.
2. For months we had asked you to pray for our missionary friend, home schooling mother of 5 who worked with Roma in Serbia. She had been diagnosed with breast cancer and she and her family had to move back to the States quickly for treatment. We've gotten word that she is now cancer free, praise God! She will not need more radiation, though will be on some medication long term, but they are praying about moving back to Serbia to resume ministry to the Roma. This is such a huge answer to prayer! There have been some structural changes in their mission and there are many uncertainties and unanswered questions about how, when and where they would return to the field to work with Roma. Please pray for the Lord's grace, guidance and wisdom, and that He will open a door for them to return to spread His word among the Roma (Col. 4:3). Incidentally, their oldest daughter is visiting from the States and is at our house today--so good to see her again.
3. On Thursday, the board of Roma Bible Society will be meeting in Pécs, Hungary, a couple hours south of us. We have much to discuss and many decisions to make. Please pray for the Lord's wisdom, oneness of mind and good progress in our Bible translation plans and goals, for His glory.

4. Please pray as we plan the budget and travel schedule for the team coming this summer from Kansas City, for the Lord's guidance in plans and His provision of a vehicle to use, funding for those coming, and the best place for lodging.
