Reflect, Recognize & Release
As summer begins to fade away and we welcome this new fall season, there is no better time to say goodbye to that which no longer serves us. With the various challenges we may have in our lives at any given time, we often create behaviors, mindsets and attitudes that help us cope. Or perhaps we jump into new relationships or time-consuming projects that distract us from the parts of our lives that cause stress, frustration or pain. It’s not wrong; it’s human nature. But it’s up to us to continue to reflect, recognize and release as we move toward a more authentic way of life.
As you spend some time this month looking back at who you’ve been and exploring who it is you want to be, I encourage you to take a brave, honest inventory of what it is that’s holding you back from your divine true nature. Is it a job that is no longer in your highest good? A commitment you made but have had a change of heart? A bad habit? Or perhaps it’s fear—of a conversation, ending a relationship, saying yes to your calling.
Regardless of what it is, I invite you to bring light to it, say thank you but no thank you, and kiss it goodbye—with love. Only then can we create the space for new, unknown gifts that are just waiting for our warm welcome.
