It was through a friend, twenty-seven years ago, that I met Olivia Newton John. I was invited over to her house a few times and even celebrated her birthday with her and her friends. At that time, I also got to know her daughter Chloe, who was and is, a beautiful bright light, just like her Mother. A few times, at her beach house in Malibu, Olivia and I would walk the beach and talk about spirituality. She was very insightful on the subject and at that time, she was also a bit of a mentor towards me. She introduced me to her friend who was an energy healer. He hosted a sweat lodge for she and I and eight of her friends. It was the first time that I channeled Spirit and directed a message to Olivia that Spirit was encouraging her to start doing her work again. Another great memory is when I was hanging out with Olivia and her husband one day. He wanted me to go kayaking with him since Olivia never was interested in it. Even though I had never been kayaking before, I went. We had a great time until the sun went down and it was pitch black. I was scared but her husband at the time, Matt, was so confident and got us back safely. There was another time with Olivia and my friend that we got to meet Kenny Loggins over dinner. What a memorable night!. Looking back at my time with her, she was such an amazing white and bright light, who was so humble in many regards. I remember one time she and I were with her family at a hockey game in Los Angeles. We were walking away and a bunch of people were staring at her, whispering, “It’s Olivia Newton John!”. She bowed her head down, like Princess Diana would do with humility and humbleness. I will always remember her ability to stay humble, no matter how wealthy, famous or successful she became. One time, Olivia, her husband, Kenny Loggins, myself, and our friend Susan and her husband were celebrating Susan’s birthday. Me, being the smart aleck that I am, brought depend diapers as a gift, even though Susan was not more than thirty years of age. As she opened it, Olivia burst out laughing and poor Kenny had no idea what to think haha! It is amazing that fast forward twenty years later, and she and I were being advertised together for our separate sold out shows at the Pala Casino. I have so many wonderful memories with Olivia. What a beautiful light she was. She will always be remembered by me fondly. |
