You're probably aware of Carla as my once a month guest and channeler of the Ra Law of One series... Here's the email I received today from her husband:

I want to let you know that on Good Friday Carla was transferred to the Sam Swope Rehabilitation Center located at the Masonic Homes on Frankfort Ave. She continues to do well although the process of recovery from this lumbar surgery is going to be quite a bit longer than from the thoracic surgery that she had last year. The current estimate is that she will be at the rehab center from six to eight weeks. She isn’t quite ready for visitors yet, but if you would like to send her a card her address is: Carla Rueckert-McCarty, Room 121, Sam Swope Care Center, 3503 Moyers Circle, Masonic Home, KY. 40041.

This rehab center is only three months old so everything is fresh and new. It’s all located on one floor and Carla has a great view out her bay window. She also has a 42” flat screen HD TV. The rooms are large with lots of storage space. There is even a beauty salon so she can have her nails and hair done from time to time. Visitors can eat with the patients or eat in the café. The staff seems very committed to helping each patient achieve his/her goals. Carla wants to be able to stand and walk by herself, take showers, and get back to writing on her computer, and she is making good progress in that direction. She and I took her longest walk to date yesterday, about 150 ft., with me holding her hand. The physical therapy sessions will begin in earnest this week now that she is getting settled into the routine.

Carla and I would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. She has said all along that she has felt the great foundation support of prayer being offered from so many places on her behalf. The surgeon has remarked again this year that her incision site is healing very well. So a very Happy Easter to each of you as we rejoice that He is risen!

And Carolyn has been a regular attendee on our Sunday calls from Uganda. She was hit by a motorcycle and had brain damage. She is now in a hospital in England, where I suspect she has no family or friends. Here's the email I received from her friend Zoe:

................ I spoke with Carolyn in Oxford a few days ago. She can manage a little conversation, and very much benefits from messages from friends.

I have her permission (enthusiastic) for anyone from the Sunday call to send a message to her through thestatus.com. You have to sign up with them the first time. A friend or family member with Carolyn at the hospital reads any messages that come each day to her. I told Carolyn of your and Terry's kind efforts on her behalf. This meant a great deal to her--I could feel her energy go up as I was speaking-- and I believe that message greatly strengthened her earth connection and therefore helped her healing.

If people have trouble making the status.com work for them, they can forward any messages of light and love to Carolyn through me-- zkeithley@gmail.com--and I will see that she hears them, though there will be a week or so when I will not be able to make the calls because of travel.

And I will be out of telephone reach on Sunday so will have to miss the call, but will be with you all in spirit.
