Why?
Well, I’m a man and I’ve wanted to be a superhero since I was a wee lad. I remember being on the playground and “saving” this girl from some kid who hadn’t figured out how to flirt yet.
I didn't even like her...I just wanted to rescue her.
The look that little 8-year-old girl gave me is burned into my memory.
It’s the same look women give me when I help them grab a box of cereal from the top shelf at Whole Foods or when I change a tire or assemble a dresser from Ikea or open a jar of sun-dried tomatoes.
And I live for that.
Ooh, give me more.
