| Today I'm going to buy a new suit.
I don't own a suit but I think it's about time.
In a few days I'll shake lots of hands at a networking conference. I'm not a big "conference" guy but I'm focused on building my business this year...so it's about time.
Next month, I'm going to travel through the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. I've never been to Brazil but it's about time.
Why do I tell you these things?
Because I'm not comfortable with any of it.
And I want to make a point that comfort has nothing to do with success.
You want something new in your life? Get off your ass, feel the uncomfort, and do what needs to be done.
So when I or any of the other dudes suggest doing some things that aren't in your comfort zone, you can say,"Well, that may work for some women, but that's not me..."
Or you can get up...
Embrace the butterflies...
And do something profoundly courageous and loving.
There's no better expression of love than when you face all that you fear in an effort to give yourself a gift.
The gift of adventure...
The gift of financial abundance...
Or the gift of love.
So, today, do something entirely uncommon and frightening.
Give your future self a gift.
