There’s one reason why we do Dude Panel, and why after 5 years Obi and I are still doing it:
We think men are actually really easy to understand.
For example, if I were a woman and I saw a cute guy I wanted to talk to, this is what I’d do…
1. Walk up to him and ask him for help.
2. While he’s helping me (maybe he’s giving me directions or helping me fix something), I would smile at him, look into his eyes in a way that communicates how deep and sexy I am, and touch him gently on the arm.
3. When he’s done, I’d pause, and if he hasn’t continued the conversation already (which he probably will), I’d say “I’ve got to be honest, I didn’t really need help with _____, I just wanted an excuse to talk to you because I think you’re cute."
At that point if he’s not jumping at the chance to go on a date with you, he’s not into you.
Simple, right?
If I were a woman I would literally do that all the time, and I’d have hot dates lined up all year with men that I got to choose, not random dudes who approached me and wasted my time.
Ok, let’s do another “If I were a woman…”
If I were a woman... I would pay more attention to the language men use, because it gives away so many clues about what we want.
When you are able to understand a man’s inner world, especially his inner sexual world, you can turn him on an off like a light switch.
It’s like having a remote control to his sex drive.
If I were a woman I could use the right phrase to have him fall so hard for you that it would make his head spin.
There are a lot of women out there that use language that doesn’t do anything for us.
They talk to their lovers in the way they want to be talked to, not in the way their lovers actually want.
I don’t want you to be one of those women!
I want you to understand us, and I want you to write dirty emails to Obi telling him how hot he is in his chocolate V-necks.
So what I’m saying is you need to become a master of man language, and I’m going to recommend a video for you. In this video you’ll hear from a woman that studied language for years and she will teach you some pretty amazing things about how a man’s brain works.
