Ugh, Mondays. Right?!
Mondays are the beginning of the week for a lot of 9–5ers…but for me…every Monday is the official end of the week before.
I go through and finish things that should have been finished a long time ago.
Procrastination––the common denominator of every writer.
I just spent 30 minutes cleaning my apartment. I took 16 minutes
almost posting a selfie to
my Instagram. (Still couldn’t pull the trigger.) And currently, I’m on Day 3 procrastinating on writing
that email…a reply to an email I got from my ex a few days ago.
Vulnerability is not easy. Expressing yourself is not easy. Tapping into feelings that you’d rather keep hidden in a shoebox in your closet is not easy.
But it needs to be done.
You want something new? New friends? New lover?
New boyfriend? You can begin the process of receiving by doing something scary, something uncomfortable…maybe something that you’ve been meaning to do for a long time but haven’t yet found the courage to do…
Find that courage…
today. Just know that I’ll be right there with you...finding my own.
