Hello, Writers!
Even with the NaNoWriMo writing challenge, I'm still reading. This past week I finished The Only Good Indians by Jones which generated a lively discussion in the Henderson Writer's Group's monthly book club. I also finished The Lost Symbol by Brown which I found tedious and in the end disappointing. Yet, I stuck in there and finished it. I'm not sure what that says about me... The Writer Workshop has two online events scheduled this week:
Monday, November 15, at 7 pm Eastern: Feedback and Critique. Read a bit of your work and receive feedback from the group. $5. Register today.
Thursday, November 18, at 1 pm Eastern (10 am Pacific): Fiction through Prompts. In this online, video conference webinar, you'll learn about a literary device and we'll write to a high-end prompt for 25 minutes and then, the group shares the results and offers feedback.
