Hello, Writers!
My reading this week included a reread of Maurice by EM Forster for a class I'm taking. This story holds up very well. I also read Timequake by Vonnegut and found it to be a bit of a disappointment. The blend of fiction and memoire just didn't work well for me. It's reassuring when a master like Vonnegut has a moment where he trips.

Thursday, August 26, at 1 pm Eastern (10 am Pacific): Fiction through Prompts. In this online, video conference webinar, you'll learn about a literary device and we'll write to a high-end prompt for 25 minutes and then, the group shares the results and offers feedback.
