Hello Writers!
I write a lot of flash fiction (in addition to novels) and was pleased to be invited to read one of my pieces for the Flash Fiction Forum's 7th Anniversary event. Like so many groups, they've gone online, so this San Jose group is welcoming folks from across the country to submit. Their next event will be in October. Click Here for submission info.
Reminder, W\we've adjusted the time of our Monday critique meeting to 7:30pm.
The Writer Workshop has two online events scheduled for this week:
Tonight, Monday, August 17th, at 7:30 pm Eastern (4 pm Pacific). Feedback and Critique. If you're interested in reading 5-6 pages of your work and receiving feedback from other writers, join us. The cost is $5.
Thursday, August 20th, at 1 pm Eastern (10 am Pacific). Fiction through Prompts. In this online, video conference webinar, you'll learn about a literary device and we'll write to a high-end prompt for 25 minutes and then, the group shares the results and offers feedback.
