I hope this finds you in continued good health! I continue to avoid yard work while editing a novel and checking in on the 7 goslings who a pair of geese are raising just beyond our backyard fence. (See pic below!)
The Writer Workshop continues its virtual, online opportunities this week.
Tonight, Monday, May 18th, at 7 pm Eastern (4 pm Pacific). Feedback and Critique. If you're interested in reading 5-6 pages of your work and receiving feedback from other writers, join us. The cost is $5.
Elements of Fiction: Characters. Tuesday, May 19th. 1 pm Eastern (10 am Pacific). Tips for creating well-developed characters, followed by Q&A. Readers need a character they can become emotionally invested in. The cost is $10. Register for the Elements of Fiction webinar.
Thursday, May 21st, at 1 pm Eastern (10 am Pacific). Fiction through Prompts. In this online, video conference webinar, you'll learn about a literary device and then write to a high end prompt for 20-25 minutes. Then, we share the results and offer feedback. The cost is $10. For the online events, you don't need any special software. Just register and then click the link at the meeting time to join us.
