Hello, Writers!
I spent the weekend in New York City. Just a quick few days that included seeing several Broadway shows--one of my favorite things. The new production of & Juliet is rather brilliant. We also finally saw Hadestown which is inspired and wonderful. Plus, we saw Lea Michele in Funny Girl, that woman can sing! I also managed a quick visit to the Met for a Cubist exhibition and then a quick swing past some of my favorite moderns, plus a walk in Central Park. Really inspirational weekend.
Next week, I'm off to Vegas for the 20Books50K conference, so there won't be any Writer Workshop events, although I will be giving a lecture on the Hero's Journey and Fiction for the Henderson Libraries while I'm there (Thursday, November 17 @ 5:30pm).
There are four workshop events this week:
Tuesday, 11/8, 1pm Eastern, Fiction Writing Through Prompts. Zoom event for the Henderson Libraries. Free, but you have to register in advance.
Wednesday, 11/9, 1pm Eastern, The Writer Workshop, Las Vegas (by invitation).
Enjoy the journey!
