Hello, Writers!
Happy Halloween! It's one of my least favorite of the holidays...probably an issue between me and my therapist!
This week's reading included Fairytale by Stephen King. It's interesting how he can break most of the rules and I still think he's a good storyteller. (I also continue to think his novels are way too long.)
The Vegas trip was great. It's the first time back since the pandemic and the trip was filled with lots of nostalgia, and some fun times, too. I actually return there later in November for the 20Books50K conference on the 13th. While there, I'll also be presenting a 2 hour session at the Henderson Libraries on The Hero's Journey on Thursday, November 17 at 5:30pm. Space is limited. Sign up today.
The return to the Henderson Libraries has been great. I'll be back there (via Zoom) in November (8 & 22). There are a few spots remaining. Click to register.
There are two workshop events this week:
Wednesday, 10/19, 1pm Eastern, The Writer Workshop, Las Vegas (by invitation).
Thursday, 1/3, 1pm Eastern, Fiction through Prompts Workshop. $10. Click to register.
Enjoy the journey!
