Hello, Writers!

I'm home once more after my epic drive up and back to Ohio and an opportunity to visit with friends and family. Then, an unexpected quick flight up to Connecticut with my husband for a bit of gambling at Mohegan Sun.

My road trip included a few books (although I found myself listening to lots of music as I traveled the green, hilly countryside). Recent titles: The Best American Short Stories 2021; and 2k to 10k: Writing Faster, Writing Better, and Writing More of What You Love. I'm teaching a graduate level lit class this term, so I'll be reading a lot of novels to keep up with my students. I'll let you know what those are over the coming weeks.

The next few weeks will be mostly "normal" with me at home and offering workshops. Although, there's no feedback workshop tonight because I'm being interviewed in a "Wireside Chat" for SNHU.

There are three Writer Workshop events this week:

Tuesday, 6/14, 1pm Eastern, Fiction Writing through Prompts for the Henderson Libraries.

Wednesday, 6/15, 5pm Eastern, The Writer Workshop, Las Vegas. (By invitation.)

Thursday, 6/16, 1pm Eastern, Fiction through Prompts. $10. Click to Register

Enjoy the journey!
