Hello, Writers!
My reading over the past week included Harvey Fierstein's autobiography I Was Better Last Night. It was an interesting read for someone who loves theater and it's also been interesting from a promotion standpoint watching the touring and other events Fierstein has been doing to promote the work, not to mention the celebrity endorsements that weren't all released on day one, but have been dripped out to the media.
This week, I head back to New Orleans for the Saints & Sinners Literary Festival. I love this annual event that draws many of the top literary names in LGBTQ++ publishing. I'll be there as an attendee, so if you're attending or in NOLA, let me know and we'll get together.
There are two Writer Workshop events this week:
Tuesday, 3/22, 1pm Eastern, Fiction Writing through Prompts for the Henderson Libraries. This is a free event, but you have to register in advance. Click to Register.
Enjoy the journey!
