Hello, Writers!
My reading this week included listening to Beloved, read by the author, Toni Morrison. This novel is interesting not only because of the subject matter, but also because the text revolves around backstory. The majority of the novel, in fact, is backstory. It takes a master author to bring the history of characters to the fore as Morrison does in this novel.
I've been invited back to the Henderson Libraries for six more Fiction through Prompts sessions for their Creative Writing @ The Library series. These new sessions will begin in March and once I have details I'll share them with you.
As I mentioned last week, I've got some travel planned throughout February, so we'll be skipping a few of our regularly scheduled events throughout the month. Be sure to check the newsletters for the upcoming weekly events.
