People's Chemist: "Store Bought Vitamins are Risky to Your Health.  Here's Why."
Lurking on the shelves of your grocery store are scores of "health supplements" filled with chemicals your body doesn't need...additives such as titanium dioxide, calcium, dextrose, maltodextrin and magnesium stearate are tossed into pill formulations like tequila into a margarita…It's become the norm.

That's why store bought vitamins are your worst enemy.

Nothing is going to change...Store's require additives!

…Adding unnecessary chemicals to vitamins is being done under the guise of increasing shelf-life of the product, not your health.

In an effort to gain some semblance of control over the situation, the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) is launching an online product registry for supplements. Known as the Online Wellness Library (OWL), it's being created so that regulators and retailers can have more background information on supplements.

But already the initiative stinks and is confusing as hell.

CRN President and CEO Steve Mister explained how the FDA is also confused and lost:

"We started having conversations in December 2014 having to do with the FDA saying they don't know who's in the marketplace. They're charged with regulating this industry and yet they don't know which products are in the marketplace and which products have which ingredients. That is the question that started this initiative…
This accountability is the first step in transparency…It allows closer monitoring by regulators and a closer look from retailers on what's out there."

It's the blind leading the blind?!

An online product registry for supplements won't solve anything. It will just add more paperwork, complexity, and confusion.

Even Mister admits, "it won't solve quality problems, it's only the first step, shining a light on it."

The only way the consumer is going to protect themselves is to simplify:

Don't use ANY products that have additives!!!!!  For the TPC difference, see the pic above...

As The People's Chemist, I NEVER uses additives like titanium dioxide, calcium, dextrose, maltodextrin or magnesium stearate…and this is why I'll never sell in stores.

I won't be a part of it.

I'd rather focus on helping people create actual HEALTH.

When you live by the principle "Simplify," you can automatically weed out the jackasses…and spare yourself the agony of using their adulterated products.

If something is overcomplicated, stay away from it.

If a supplement maker is adding compounds that don't belong, stay away.

If you want perfect health…give your body the nutrients it needs by ditching store bought vitamins!
