compliant media said, "Yes, you should still get a flu shot, even
though we’re deep into flu season. (It’s so, so bad this year.)"

The CDC is backing it up the claim, “We have not hit our peak yet,
unfortunately. Really, the bottom line is, there is still likely many more
weeks to go.”

Of course, this is a thinly disguised sales pitch masquerading as "news."

Sure, the flu is real. But the effectiveness of the flu shot is not.

Dare I say, it's fake news?
