Friend,

At the end of every week, I do "The Friday Dance."

Living the lifestyle of the not-so-rich or famous, my '99 Toyota 4-Runner is
specially equipped with amp, base, mids and tweets.

Perfect for that trunk music.

Dropping the kids off at school, my dance always comes with my best
rendition of Slipknot, Tupac, Eminem or Metallica.

Each week is different. Diversity is important for kids. Yes, headbanging
is dancing, too.

My 13-year-old is sure to remind me how immature I am and that
she hates me for being so embarrassing. Her principle loves it,
though.

(Not sure how he feels about the parent's chest vibrating from
my base.)

Yea, I'm that guy.

Blair, my 9-year-old, is much kinder.

Once we round the corner to his school, it's music off. He needs 3 minutes
to relate to another analytical mind. He won't get it at school.

So, it's full academic mode. Only large words allowed, we usually discuss
the merits of closed and open circuits, or how to reduce parasite drag
to increase airspeed and decrease fuel use (on an airplane).

One last effort to improve my Friday Dance, I ask, "Dude, the music?
The dance?"

"Well, it's not MY favorite."

Ahhh, yes. So there's a chance that the dance is still cool.

Jeff is great at singing and playing guitar, but I hope to never see him
dance again. It's not cool! Think grasshopper with 6 left feet. :) I bet our
