Many teachers have contacted me and submitted their students for participants.
That's great! Your students will love you for it! :)
I also have teachers informing me that some of their kids students just started learning piano for 1 year or so.
They are really keen to participate. Their parents are eager to sign them up too. But they are not at the level to compete in any category.
I have shared this feedback with the judging panel.
As the purpose of this festival is to encourage the spirit of performance, we will be opening up 1 more category, called the Little Stars!This category is opened for kids 7 years old and below.
And they can perform any piece. Yes, free choice of repertoire.
They will also have 3 months to prepare for the performance.
They will also get a certificate of recognition, and winners for this category will also win trophies and prizes! |
