Just yesterday, we had the privilege of spreading holiday cheer at Woodlands Health Campus through a special Christmas concert for patients and healthcare staff, and everyone else there!
The performers line up, which include our kids piano and violin students & their teachers, together with Learning Vision preschool, filled the whole event plaza with the joy of music, performing everything from classic carols to festive favorites.
It was a moving experience to see how music could bring smiles, comfort, and connection to those who needed it most.

As we reflect on the Christmas Concert, we realize it was more than just a performance. Here's some of our takeaways:
1. Music Can Heal
This concert reminded us of the incredible healing power of music, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. It brought comfort to patients, uplifted healthcare staff, and created moments of peace and joy in challenging times.
2. The Courage to Step Outside Comfort Zones
Most of the concerts we've organised are in indoor recital halls, so performing in open space was a new experience for many performers. It challenged them to adapt, grow their confidence, and deliver their best despite the unfamiliar setting.
3. The Joy of Giving Through Music
More than just a performance, this concert was an opportunity to give back to the community. Sharing music with patients and healthcare workers reminded us all of the power of kindness and connection.
With just one more week to Christmas, I'm sure you're looking forward to gatherings and parties.

As for me, I'll be having 6 sessions of our Christmas recitals tomorrow and Friday for our Happy Violinist & Pianist students.
