Have you heard of World Strings Day?
This is an event hosted by Global Strings Federation in celebration of Singapore's 59th national day.
Previous WSD have seen 300-400 string players (violins, violas, cellos) gathered together as a huge 'orchestra' to perform in different public venues in Singapore.
The Happy Violinist will be participating together as a group.

Here's this year WSD details:
Date: 3rd August, Saturday 4.30pm
Venue: Gardens By The Bay, Silver Leaf
Registration: FREE
Criteria to join:
1. You can play the violin, viola or cello
2. All levels welcome, from beginner to higher grades
3. 8 years old and above. Teachers and parents can join too!
What do you get:
1. Scores and audio of songs
2. a World Strings Day T-Shirt
3. WSD Digital certificate
4. Digital event photos
5. Happy Violinist Goodie Bag (for performers under Happy Violinists only)
