Subject: Join the recital, or the festival? 🎶🎻

Hello!

Valerie here from The Happy Violinist!

As you know, currently we are running two music events:

1. The Happy Music Recital (June)
2. The Happy Music Festival 2024 (Now to Sept)

We have many students and parents asking, Which one should you join?

My best answer is, "Both!"

We are very supportive of any performance opportunities wherever there is.

Even if it's your primary/secondary school special occasion that need you to perform, go for it!

So what's the difference between the two performance events?

The Happy Music Recital allows performers to perform any piece they like in a casual setting. Some students also perform in groups, 6-hands piano, or piano + viola + cello. No judging, no marking. Sometimes with guest performances and games too.

The Happy Music Festival, is our annual music festival, held once a year. Performers will need to perform based on category guidelines, and judged by our panel of international adjudicators.

With judging and marks, performers will also get rewarded with certificates, medals and trophies, and the opportunity to perform at Esplanade Studio. Suitable for music students who want to build their music portfolio.

Our objective for organising these music events is to provide opportunities for music to perform, beside just taking exams.

So depends on your interest, you can choose to participate either one... or both!
