Subject: I'm so sorry

Hello!

Mark here from The Happy Pianist!

I have an apology to make.

Few weeks ago, we organised our first ever Happy Music Recital.

We organise this recital to provide performance opportunities and for music lovers to showcase their skills and share the love of music with their loved ones.

We always wanted to do this, but unable to for past few years due to lockdowns and gathering restrictions.

Fortunately, the situation has improved and we can organise recitals again!

However, we're still unsure how teachers and students will respond to live performances.

After all, most of us are used to video recordings. For past 3 years, grading exams have gone online, and you can also win competitions just by sending in your recorded performance videos.

"Is there still a need for live performance?"

So for the March recital, we only book a few slots with the venue hall to 'test the response'.

But little did we know the response was so overwhelming.

100% of the performance slots are booked after 5 days of announcement.

And we have to keep rejecting teachers and parents because there's no more slots to squeeze in.

I'm so sorry for this.

Sorry that I'm unable to slot you in and missed out on the recital.

But this has given us good feedback what to expect when we organise our future events.

Speaking about events, we are in the midst of organising our annual piano and violin competition - The Happy Music Festival 2023.

About 70% done.

We want to plan it in a way that every student has an opportunity to take part this time.

I hope to share more good news with you soon.

Stay tuned!
