1. Do I need to submit the video recording when I register for the festival?
Nope. You don't need to record or submit any recording now. You only need to register for the correct category. That's all.
2. What are the guidelines for video recording?
The guidelines for video recording and submission will be sent once you've registered.
You can also watch past winners videos to have a brief idea of the video recording.
3. When do I need to submit the video recording?
The deadline for Semi-Finals of submission is on 29th July 2022. That is about 6.5 weeks. So you have enough time to record and submit your performance.
4. Can I compete with my ABRSM exam piece? Since I'm already preparing for my exams this year.
Of course. All exam piece from any year under ABRSM, Trinity or LCM syllabus are allowed in the classical categories. Since you're already practicing for your exams, use it for the competition! (Just need 1 piece, not 4 pieces)
5. Where will the name of teacher/school be featured?
Every contestant’s certificate will feature the name of his/her representative – which can be the teacher, parent, music school, or ownself.
If the contestant come in top 3 of a category, the representative name will also be featured on the result page. (Free Publicity to recognise the teachers/school for their efforts!)
