Subject: "For Festival Live Finals & Gala Concert, how many sessions will there be?

Hello!

Valerie here from The Happy Violinist!

As you have already know, The Happy Music Festival 2024 is open for registration since April, and we have received many questions from parents and teachers.

Here's the most asked questions. Let me share more with you.

1. I understand the first round is Video Submission. How many videos can I submit?

Submit only one video. Record and submit your best one!

2. Should I register first or record video first?

We recommend you to register for the festival first so you will receive the full video recording guidelines that helps you in your recording.

Also, register early to get the early bird rates. Video submission deadline is later on 12th July.

3. Can I perform my ABRSM or Trinity exam piece? I'm already preparing for my exams this year!

Yes! All exam pieces from any year under ABRSM, Trinity or LCM syllabus are allowed in the classical categories.

You may have learn 4 exam pieces, so just choose your best piece for this festival!

4. How many sessions will there be in the Live Finals at Bechstein?

The Live finals will be held on 24-25th August, with at least 6 sessions of performances over 2 days.

We do it over 2 days so more performers have the opportunity to perform in the grand finals!

5. How many sessions will there be in the Gala Concert at Esplanade Studio?

The Gala Concert will be held over 2 sessions on 3rd Sept - Afternoon and Evening Session. Actual timing to be announced.

We booked 2 sessions so more performers have the opportunity to perform at Esplanade Recital Studio!

6. My students are on holiday now. Can I have more time to register?

Yes sure. The registration and video submission deadline is on 12th July. So there's a month plus to go!

So do register first. The video submission can come later.
