You may have sensed an air of apprehension amongst even the most forward-thinking recruiting tech companies recently.
This uncertainty is not unfounded.
The rise of advanced technologies like ChatGPT is threatening their bottom line, compelling recruiting tech companies to discourage its use by promoting fears and doubts about it.
This is largely because they profit from this resistance to change. The answer isn't ChatGPT, it's their tool powered by ChatGPT lol.
However, in this email, we're aiming to dispel some misconceptions by illustrating a simple, effective technique that some ATS founders have been arguing against, erroneously asserting its non-existence.
The technique involves sourcing potential candidates using ChatGPT.
Despite the apprehensions, it is not only feasible but remarkably efficient.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to leverage this technology:
Select an URL: This could be a conference, a community, or a website you're interested in sourcing potential candidates from.
Launch ChatGPT: Open the tool to begin the recruitment process.
Engage the 'Link Reader' Plugin: This tool can read and interpret the information from the URL you've provided.
The next steps involve instructing ChatGPT to create a comprehensive list of potential candidates who fit your profile requirements.
You can ask the AI to compile their job title, company, and any other pertinent information available on the webpage and the internet.
In addition, ChatGPT can neatly format this data into a CSV file that is compatible with your ATS software.
Afterward, your ATS can generate candidate emails, or you can use a ChatGPT-powered Google Sheet (I walk you through doing this on my Youtube channel) to locate the required information.
What used to be a tedious, yet quite strategic recruitment method that would take hours, now takes minutes. It's exciting to see!
In conclusion, the adoption of ChatGPT in recruitment is a highly efficient and time-saving method that could significantly boost your recruitment strategy.
The key is to understand the tool and use it effectively rather than succumbing to unwarranted fears.
Are you doing this? Are you stuck? Let's chat.
Cheers,
Destiny
