What to Expect During the Transition

The Bug Shed will experience a transition period from Oct. 17-22 while the business is moved from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to its new home in Pennsylvania.

Here are a few FAQ’s to help you know what to expect during this time of adjustment for The Bug Shed:

❓Will there be any change in service?

• If anything, we expect service to improve as the new team is larger, well coordinated, and highly invested in making this business a success.

• Also, shipping from Pennsylvania will most likely result in faster delivery to most areas of the country compared to shipping from our current location, a remote rural area in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

• We (the old team) are committed to helping the new dubia roach company team succeed and will be available to them throughout the transition period to help keep things running smoothly.

❓Will there be a shipping hold during the move?

Yes:

• Our last day to ship from our Michigan location is Wednesday, October 16th. 

• Place your order by noon Eastern time on the 16th for it to ship out that day from our Upper Peninsula of Michigan location. This will be the last shipping day until October 23.

• The Bug Shed will be up and running to begin shipping packages again from our new location in Pennsylvania on Wednesday Oct. 23rd. 

❓Can I place an order while The Bug Shed is in transition?

Barring any unforeseen obstacles: Yes! Here is the plan:

• You can expect our website to be down for a few hours to a day or two on or shortly after Oct. 16th while we transition to new ownership.

• Once it goes back up you can place orders as usual at regular prices through Tuesday, Oct. 22.

• These orders will be shipped out from Pennsylvania on or shortly after Oct. 23.
