"The center of our work is the Daime Self-Realization works that we will do in the salão at Morgenlicht. We will do a minimum of six of those ceremonies. In addition, we will go to the church of Flor da Montanha in Lumiar for the Gira of Caboclo Tupinamba, which is a daylong Umbanda ceremony, and for the Hinario of Baixinha on May 1st."

A Message from Ceu Divina Rosa

Hello Brothers and Sisters of the Irmandade,

There is something very exciting happening right now in Brasilia! A group of committed Daimistas have come together to make professional recordings of all the pontos and hymns of the Umbandaime 1 workbook, as well as the upcoming Umbandaime 2 workbook. These recording sessions began on February 8th and will go through the 24th, so they are happening right now! 
Maria Alice and Júlia, as well as Rita, Luisa F, Elvira, Sabá (Lumiar) and Marcelo Bernardes (Lumiar), are working as a team at the recording studio as you read this! It is an amazing group doing amazing work!
In October the Divine Rose store bought all the plane tickets for the drummers and singers to fly to Brasilia for the recording sessions. We have raised over $3000 from the sales of CD's and Umbandaime hinários over the last five years. 
In order to complete this project, we needed to raise another $4160 to pay the recording engineer and other associated costs for the project. Thus far, we have raised $440 of this amount and still need $3720 more. Thanks to all who already contributed!

Maria Alice Umbandaime Recording Project

"Here is Maria Alice speaking. I am sending greetings to you. We are here to speak about the Umbandaime project which is finally, after 30 years, since 1989. This collective work has developed and now we are finally at the point of recording all of the songs that we have collected, pontos from the Umbanda line and hymns. Making them available to the brotherhood, sisterhood of the Santo Daime. We have been working and several sisters and brothers have helped us to invest money to help this production happen and others have worked in the collections of the songs and all the production. So now we are doing that. It is a very beautiful moment, because just at the final moment just before started the recordings we were able to receive as a present for us Marcelo and Sabá that are from the origin of the Umbanda line from Baixinha's church. And they bring these original ways of singing from there so they joined us and it is going to make the final project much richer that way. We are going to write about the meanings of the these alliances also in the website that we will put out with the recordings. So we are now in this moment. We have received a lot of help, but we are still needing more help, financial help, because we have many more costs than was previously thought. More hours in the studio, and so we are putting these words out for those who want to collaborate and thanking everybody who is of a good and grateful heart". --- Maria Alice Campos Freire

An email has been distributed today to CEFLURGEM Protectors & Plenary Board with a Fundraising appeal on behalf of Luis Fernando

Luis is in a battle with laryngeal cancer and is in need of financial assistance to help him with his medical care.
As the voice of our beloved Padrinho Alfredo, President of our Doutrina, it is clearly time to hear the call for the Juramidam family to pull its circle of light, prayer and financial strength closer together to help with this mission
