Dear community,
Thank you to all those who were able to make it to CHLQ's Annual Meeting last weekend. For those who were unable to attend, we would like to summarize the financial condition of the church for 2018.
CHLQ Financial Update
There was a sizable deficit, with income not fully meeting the expenses of running the church and procuring the Daime for us all. The shortage amounts to $382/month less than what was needed. The church has enough reserves to keep going for a few years even with a deficit, however, it is important that we become self-sustaining. We are asking our tithing members to consider increasing their monthly donations by $15 more per month, if they can do that. We are asking those who contribute at the door to consider contributing $15- $20 more per work, if they can. If those who are able increase their contributions by this amount, we will cover the shortfall and be in good shape financially. We are all very fortunate to have this wonderful gift of light from the Daime and we want to cherish and sustain it, so it can continue to be there for us and others. Thank you all for your support.

These works will be led by Jane Seligson and Jonathan Goldman.
We will be joined by musician and healer, Sebastião Carlos from Lumiar, Brasil.
Contributions for ST Works: $180 (sliding scale $130-$180)
Hinário: $100 for visitors to CHLQ
A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration to reserve your place in each Self-Transformation Work you register. Registration for the works fills quickly and with a waiting list, your deposit confirms your registration and reserves your place. You will receive a confirmation email once you have filled out the Registration Form and made your Deposit.
Payment We prefer to use PayPal at this point in time.

Amazonian Kambô Frog Medicine |
|
Sebastião Carlos is a resident of the spiritual community of Flor da Montana in Lumiar, Brazil. He is, along with being a trained practitioner of Kambô, an accomplished mediumistic healer and musician.
Sebastião will be offering Kambô medicine to those who wish. The date is yet to be announced, it is likely to be on the 16th of Feb, during the day of rest after the STWs. The asking donation price is $100. |

Mexico Self-Transformation Works |

These two series of STW's are being held at location:
La Cabaña D’Mar, in Villa de Allende
1 hour and a half from Mexico City.
Cost per workshop: $550,
Room&Board and Meals: $250, Total cost: $800
If you attend both it is $1600.

"The center of our work is the Daime Self-Realization works that we will do in the salão at Morgenlicht. We will do a minimum of six of those ceremonies. In addition, we will go to the church of Flor da Montanha in Lumiar for the Gira of Caboclo Tupinamba, which is a daylong Umbanda ceremony, and for the Hinario of Baixinha on May 1st."

Luis is in a battle with laryngeal cancer and is in need of financial assistance to help him with his medical care.

Joy Patten Dear friends, Many of you know me from my 20 years living in Ashland, and working as a chiropractor and healer. When I was in Hawaii in October, I ended up falling and breaking my arm.
