Dear Fellow Discoverers (a step beyond seekers),
I am very pleased to announce to you the dates for our Daime Self-Realization Intensive Retreat in Brasil for 2019.
This retreat is a continuation of the work that was developed in our 14-year collaboration with Baixinha and her guide Caboclo Tupinamba. It is open to all those who feel called to explore their own spiritual and emotional depths, to take new steps in their healing, to take leaps on their spiritual path and in the development of their relationship to their own guides and their intuition, within the context of the particular expression of Daime work that we have developed over these years. And at the same time the group will be limited in size to 18 people to preserve the intimacy and depth of the work. The work is deep, intimate, at times challenging and for sure edge stretching. An interview will be necessary.
We will be staying at Morgenlicht, the exquisite mountain hotel run by our friends Martina and Carlos, and their lovely staff. We will be fed healthy, superbly prepared food. We will have access to the trails and natural wonders of the Atlantic Rainforest where Morgenlicht is located. We also have a sauna and swimming pool for cleaning and exercising our bodies.
And all this beauty and care we will have around us is only the conditions for doing the in-depth healing and awakening work we will do together in our retreat.
At the center of our program is a question we ask of ourselves and for guidance from those who watch over us and inspire us. How can we make full use of the amazing potential that the Daime offers us? Over the years we have refined—are still refining—the work in according to the guidance and feedback we have received. The form of the work facilitates very deep inner communion. And the place we do the work, in a most beautiful and powerful natural setting, facilitates deep healing and communion with nature.
The work will be guided and held by our crew of musicians, singers, healers and teachers that works in harmony and unity. The space we hold, and that you are invited to help us hold, is secure on all levels. We are all learning and deepening our own work as we hold the space of concentration, music, healing, and for the various techniques we use to process and deepen the work that the Daime presents to us. This intensive retreat will give us all a chance to explore those depths, to answer that question inside ourselves.
The dates are: Arrive in Brasil April 24, leave Brasil May 9.
The center of our work is the Daime Self-Realization works that we will do in the salão at Morgenlicht. We will do a minimum of six of those ceremonies. In addition, we will go to the church of Flor da Montanha in Lumiar for the Gira of Caboclo Tupinamba, which is a daylong Umbanda ceremony, and for the Hinario of Baixinha on May 1.
Jane will be handling registration, she and I will answer any questions you have as you contemplate whether this letter is only an invitation or if it’s a call for you to come with us on this inner and outer adventure in Brasil.
