Padrinho Alfredo in Ashland
April 18th - 24th
We are deeply honored to be welcoming beloved Padrinho Alfredo and Comitiva to Ashland, Oregon for a São Miguel Work on Friday, April 20th taking place at Grizzly Peak, and we will be singing Nova Jerusalem, Nova Era, and Nova Dimensão on Saturday April 21st, taking place at the CHLQ Yurts.  Mark your calendars and join us in receiving the blessing of our lineage holder's loving presence. 

You will receive a confirmation email once you have registered including location details. 
Self Transformation Works

Jonathan and Jane will be in Maryland leading 3 Self Transformation Works and the Hinario of Sonia Palhares.

You Are Light in the Darkness: Embodying Compassion, Faith and Forgiveness
Recorded 3 Session Online Class Series with Jonathan Goldman

We are taught by all the true spiritual teachers from every line and every culture that the Divine is inside of us. We are counseled to cease our endless, fruitless and ultimately hopeless looking and questing outside of ourselves for what they know and teach us is waiting for our attention in the inner dimensions of our own being. In fact, the qualities we associate with authentic spirituality—calmness in the face of turmoil, compassion in the face of suffering, faith in the face of fear and forgiveness in the face of condemnation, judgment and vengeance—are indeed inside us. They each have their assigned place in your your energy vehicle—your bodies—and more specifically in your heart. In this class you will be given a new and authentic view of your self—your bodies, your inner landscape, your inner being. You will then be guided to discover these spiritual qualities inside yourself and how to access and make use of them. Making these spiritual qualities into practical ones and helping you to take the next steps on your own path of transformation, healing, illumination and empowerment.

Blessings on your Travels
Let us keep our thoughts and prayers with Jonathan and Jane as they travel to Brazil - April 25th - May 6th 
They will be singing Baixinha's hinario with our brothers and sister in Lumiar.
A Prayer Request from Sky, Holly & Lukajack
"Yuliana, part of our extended family for over 10 years and caretaker of Lukajack has fallen ill.  Her full name is Alma Esperanza Yuliana Aboytes Anaya.  She has lost both her kidneys and is on dialysis.  We are helping her get a kidney transplant.  May you hold her health in your hearts.

Message from CHLQ Good Works Committee 
Thank you to everyone who came and worked hard to care for our salão and grounds during the recent community work days:

Adama H.​   Ashley P.   Beverly C.   Kristin T.   
Jaime P.   Jane S.   Rosie R.

Together we were able to accomplish many wonderful and much needed tasks:

Cleaned and organized the supply cupboard
Laundered all of the blankets, pillows, rugs
Deep cleaned the floors
Replaced the salão light bulbs
Polished the altars and our sacred objects
Cleaned the gutters
Raked many, many leaves
Cleared the flowerbeds
Cleaned the glass doors and salão walls
Cleared cobwebs and dust-bunnies and more!

We will be having at least one more community work day to continue caring for our spaces and preparing them to receive our beloved visitors.
Please add this upcoming date to your calendar and consider joining us, especially if you have not be able to make it for one of our previous work days.
Many helping hands are needed to support these projects and our community. 

Sunday, April 15th

Please bring snacks to share, work gloves, rakes/leaf blowers, and small gardening tools.

Projects we will be working on at our next community work day include:

Planting flowers
More leaf raking around the yurts, pathways and Terreiro
Deep cleaning and restocking the bathrooms
Cleaning the salão walls
Cleaning and organizing the supplies on the Guardian stands
And more!

  • Fragranced personal products can cause medical distress in some people with allergies, asthma and migraines as well as interrupt concentration.  
  • Your fellow Daimistas have the right to breath clean healthy air in the salão. 
  • Please consider ways to reduce the strength and number of scented products you wear to the works.
Thank your cooperation and attention on this matter.
