Dearest CHLQ Santo Daime Friends ~

I am asking if you can please send Light & Prayers to my aunt who just passed away at 2:30am today, Monday 3/21 in Pendleton Oregon.

She passed peacefully in the hospital, unfortunately with no family members present, but with a very kind nurse by her side.

Her name is Candace Colbert (my beloved Aunt Candi).

Thank you very much for any support you are willing to offer as she makes her Journey; myself and her family greatly appreciate it.

If you feel inspired, you are also welcome to extend good wishes to her son Cameron, her beloved dog Storm,as well as any of her 4 siblings.
Some of you know my Mother, her sister, Intiana as she did several works with us in our Church about 4 years ago.

I grew up with my Aunt in Portland as a little girl, yet unfortunately there was much trauma and mental illness in our family system, which resulted in many estranged family relationships between her and I, her and her son, her and her mother and siblings.

However, she and I reconnected when my Grandmother passed in 2010,
so I am very very happy to say that she and I have had a very loving relationship this last decade, and my Mother and she also reconnected at that point.

My sincere prayer is that now she has crossed over, she may feel love and forgiveness for herself and all her relationships, and at peace with her lifetime.

I have learned volumes about compassion, unconditional love, and forgiveness from my Soul's journey with her, and I am seeking to extend those virtues to all of my extended family as I am currently attempting to be in my place in inviting reconnections, while knowing I can only do what is mine to do, as the Daime teaches us, to simply be humble and firm in my place.
