Hi Folk,

I received a call just after we closed our work letting me know that a dear friend had passed from this world.  This is a very beautiful person, the beloved matriarch at the head of an extended clan, a family who help root the local indigenous and regional communities they are from.  Her name is "Happy" Feliz McGonagle.  She died suddenly and tragically in a head on car collision last Monday Aug 22, when a car crossed the center line.  Two young people in their 20's were severely injured and substances are being investigated.  

This is so tragic, a needless accident that has disrupted many lives and taken a beautiful soul from her family and out of the heart of her community.  Her daughter, Connie is one of my best friends, a woman who does so much for our local community, who looks out for the people others might miss.  The whole family is like this, modeling mutual aid, witnessing people on their path, bringing union into the field of divisions, being real with people, as equals, heart to heart.  Happy embodied these qualities and radiated respect and joy to all around her, all of the time, always supporting people no matter what.  

I would so appreciate if people would pray with Happy as she makes her passing through the Worlds, and also prayer for her family in their time of shock and grief.  People can also show love by supporting her daughter Connie's business, Hot Stuff Espresso, the Coffee truck by the Mobil gas station in Ashland, which Happy helped run since it opened 20 years ago.
