Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are about to have our first outdoor work in the Terreiro for the Summer season and we need your help!  We are blessed to have the space of the Terreiro, a cultivated and dedicated ceremony space that is so beautiful, but it means a lot of extra work and that is where all of you get to help out! 

In addition to the grounds work necessary to make the space ready, everything we use for our ceremony must be carried up to the Terriero, setup and then after the work, everything has to be returned and the space left completely clean and organized.  We have been doing this for several years and we know what we are doing, however, several of our regular setup/cleanup people, including the ones who lead the cleanup are not going to be at this work, and we need others to step up.  

I am still recovering from surgery and am not prepared to carry chairs and tables and equipment by myself for this work.  I am healing well, but am in an important phase of healing nerves and muscles that were severed and need time to regenerate and heal correctly.  I have several hours of grounds and bathroom maintenance for this work before starting the setup and would appreciate deeply if people would come early and stay late to help with the setup and cleanup.

I appreciate deeply all of the work that people did maintaining the Salão before and after works these last months while I was in my surgery process.  The Salão was very well cared for, people really stepped up, let's continue and extend the good work into our Terreiro and upcoming Festival season.

For a 12:00 start time, we need (some) people to show up at 10:30 to move and setup chairs and tables; and other people to come at 11:00 to help with all the small stuff.
