Dear friends and community, 

Thank you so much for the prayers, love, and well-wishes offered on behalf Kathryn Kloos. Kathryn, Scott, and family are deeply touched by the kindness and care expressed during this time.

As some of you are aware, Kathryn was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. She underwent surgery remove the tumor and returned home after a night of recovery in the hospital. The surgeon at Mt. Hood is confident that surgery went very well. We are awaiting further test results to determine possible metastasis to the liver and next steps on the treatment path.

A local meal train was initiated and we are doing our best to care for Kathryn, Scott, and the family. There is a great need for support in the form of prayers, financial contributions, and on the ground care. We know many of you love Kathryn and wish to support her during this time. If you are able to contribute financially, we have created a GoFundMe to cover medical bills and living expenses while she is in treatment and recovery.
