Happy New Year!

We are all grateful for the immense blessing of the Daime in our lives at this time on Earth. CHLQ has been able to continue the mission of CHLQ, growing the church and welcoming new members. We continued our mission in Brasil, supporting communities in need, and cultivating the relationships that keep us firmly rooted in the doctrine of Mestre. Thanks to your donations, we were able to help members in need and support cultivation projects in Brasil.

Thanks to your tithes we were able to stay open as a functioning nonprofit. Tithes fund the day-to-day operations of CHLQ, which has many administrative and legal functions that continue behind the scenes. Tithes also fund the maintenance of the yurts and the land, as well as all the supplies used during ceremonies. We could not operate without your continued support. 

As costs continue to rise we continue to need the support of every member to make the Daime available to all who come to seek its Light. 

Each serving of Daime you drink is not merely a small cup with some sacrament. Each serving is the land on which the vine and leaf are grown. Each serving is the labor of the men and women who for decades have turned the plants into the sacred Daime. Every taste of Daime is our connection to these men and women, through the efforts of Padrinho Jonathan and Madrinha Jane and all who help them maintain inroads into Brasil. Each sip represents intercontinental plane flights, people carrying Daime in suitcases, going through customs and DEA protocols. Every little cup is the storage of the Daime, the knowledge of how to prepare it, the permits that allow it, the legal standing maintained and defended.
